Engage 2025 Peru was our eighth Engage Summit experience — and truly one of the most memorable. Set in the heart of the charming Cusco town, the event was hosted at the stunning Belmond Monasterio, a former monastery turned luxury hotel rich with history and Peruvian charm.
We arrived a couple of days early to acclimate to Cusco’s high altitude — sipping coca tea, exploring the cobblestone streets, and soaking in the vibrant local atmosphere before the retreat officially began.

On Day One, planner Arturo De Noriega visited a local market to hand-pick exclusive Peruvian corn for the event’s décor, along with alpaca scarves and accessories that beautifully reflected the country’s culture.
For this edition, Arturo invited us to document the behind-the-scenes moments — capturing through photos and films how he and his team brought this Engage event to life with creativity, heart, and authentic Peruvian charm.

As part of my role, I had the privilege of following Arturo Noriega behind the scenes, documenting how he collaborates with his production team and suppliers to bring the event to life.
The day began with the registration of attendees at the Belmond Palacio Nazarenos, where we were warmly welcomed and gifted beautiful handmade items from local Peruvian artisans. This gifting was a wonderful way to meet the Engage team for the first time and share in the excitement of receiving name tags and lovely presents.
Following the registration and gifting, we enjoyed a delightful lunch at the Belmond Palacio Nazarenos, savoring exquisite Peruvian cuisine.
The evening then unfolded into a stunning welcome dinner at the Belmond Monasterio’s main yard, complete with lasers, a DJ, and an exciting after-party that truly set the tone for the retreat.
Day Two began with an incredible workshop led by the creativity genius Duncan J. Wardle, former Head of Innovation & Creativity at Disney. His session set an inspiring tone for the day, encouraging everyone to think differently and embrace imagination in their work.
Afterward, attendees split into smaller group sessions, creating space for more intimate discussions, personal insights, and meaningful connections among event professionals from around the world.
Lunch was hosted in the beautiful Belmond Monasterio courtyard — a relaxed, family-style meal under the trees, filled with laughter, conversation, and the warm Peruvian sun.
The evening was pure magic. The gala dinner took place inside the San Antonio de Abad Chapel, the former monastery church of the Belmond Monasterio. The design concept, “Astronomy Meets Astrology,” came to life through rich blue and gold tones, celestial details, and soft candlelight — transforming the historic chapel into a breathtaking setting for a night of elegance, wonder, and celebration.
